Ballard's vibrant culinary scene is about to get a Nordic infusion. Bergen Størrelse, a new seafood restaurant featuring Scandinavian flavors, will soon open its doors on Ballard Avenue NW, according to Business Journal Seattle. The Seattle Times reports that Bergen Størrelse is the creation of Chef Bjorn Erikson, a Seattle native with strong ties to Norwegian cuisine. Erikson spent several years honing his skills in Oslo, Norway, and is now eager to bring his culinary vision to his hometown. "I
